Tony Perez spent 17 years as a mechanical engineer in nuclear power. Then a franchise broker called while he was out fishing. On January 1, 2018, Tony and his wife Heidi bought a Mr. Rooter Plumbing franchise in the Twin Cities. They grew it to more than 50 employees and about 30% growth a year, then successfully sold it while not a single employee quit.
