Bob Harris

Bob Harris is an accomplished business broker and mergers & acquisitions advisor and has served business owners since 2008. He has been a member of the President’s Club multiple times and has helped numerous business owners sell their businesses within a variety of industries including manufacturing, construction, services, lumberyards, powersports, and lawn maintenance/landscaping.

Over his career, Bob has participated in well over 100 deal-making transactions and has experience in all phases of the transaction life cycle. As a past business owner, Bob has first-hand experience and a personal understanding of the emotional challenges that come with selling a business. His past knowledge and abilities will help the business owner position, value and market their business with the goal of achieving the maximum net after-tax proceeds.

Bob is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) and a Merger & Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI), both formal designations bestowed on him by the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and M&A Source. Less than 10% of Business Brokers and M&A Advisors worldwide have achieved such credentials.

Prior to joining Sunbelt Business Advisors and True North M&A, Bob started a transportation/logistics company which he sold to Fidelity Capital, a division of Fidelity Investments. Bob also managed an accounting/financial consulting division for Robert Half International. Bob has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Augsburg University in Minneapolis, with concentrations in finance and accounting.
