Wes Winnekins

Wes is an experienced finance and operations professional with over thirty years of experience in the areas of accounting, finance, business strategy development, M&A transactions, start-ups and business turnaround. Wes brings a unique business perspective from operating at senior levels in small publicly-held and private businesses with revenue ranging from $1 million to $80 million. Over the course of his career, Wes has managed corporate buy and sell side transactions totaling over $100 million and has raised approximately $75 million in equity and debt capital to fund strategic acquisitions.

Wes’ experience working with sellers and buyers in a corporate setting will be invaluable to clients that entrust their selling and buying experience to Sunbelt Business Advisors. In addition, Wes’ industry experience is diverse, encompassing medical device, light manufacturing, franchising, financial services, healthcare services, fitness/health management services, software and Internet commerce.

Wes is a CPA (inactive) and graduated from Iowa State University with a BBA in Accounting. Wes lives in Plymouth with his wife and enjoys spending time at the cabin working in his shop and fishing.
